I have learnt how to use verbal and no verbal communication to overcome language barriers; developed negotiation skills through daily contact with sellers in markets and vendors throughout Asia and Pacific Islands; learned how to adapt to unexpected situations and make new plans due to periodic travel mishaps and unexpected events; developed budgeting and planning skills by organizing and financing my travel around the world.
